Counselling Experience
I completed my practicum as an intern at Fraser House, an outpatient substance abuse counselling service (September 2018 to April 2019).
I have over a decade of experience working with incarcerated people, helping them make positive changes to reintegrate back into society with the Correctional Service of Canada (2007 to 2023).
I worked for five years supporting volunteers, children and families as a caseworker with Big Brothers Big Sisters (2002 to 2007).
I supported volunteers and youth in the Chilliwack Restorative Justice and Youth Diversion Association for five years, including facilitating victim-offender mediation-style processes (1999 to 2004).
Diverse Experience
I was a trained fitness instructor, leading aerobics and strength classes.

Volunteer and Professional Development
I was an Employee Assistance Program Referral Agent for 10 years.
I was a Union representative for six years.
I participated in the Chilliwack Child and Youth Committee for three years.
I mentored young offenders for four years.
I delivered the Harassment-Free Workplace workshop for two years.
