Individual Counselling

Counselling is a relationship in which my presence allows and facilitates your coping, learning and growth. Counselling provides a safe space for you to be your real self and to either accept this self or make changes. The goal of counselling is determined by you.  I am a non-judgmental listener and guide for exploration. I'm skilled in supporting clients to make desired changes and can share strategies to help you accomplish your counselling goals.  See below for holistic Talk, Walk, Thrive counselling to get out, active and mentally and physically healthy.

Group workshops

For workplaces or other organizations, it can be helpful for the team to learn interpersonal or coping skills. Custom workshops are offered on a variety of topics such as emotional regulation, cognition, conflict resolution, and communication... or ask about another options.

 

Talk, Walk, Thrive: Counselling on the Move

The benefits of moving and talking are well documented.  Being outside and moving your body provides benefits itself. Add to it the therapeutic relationship in which you have someone to listen fully (plus you don't have to have direct eye contact if you don't want to), you have an almost magic formula for well-being!  You can meet in your neighbourhood, a local park, or one of the local favourites: Heritage Park (in Mission) or Mill Lake (in Abbotsford).  Try a session.  If you're not sure of the benefits, you can always move sessions to indoors.
